I’m so proud of the work that our talented team has delivered so far this year
to support our clients and to make positive contributions to the society we
all share. I would like to thank each one of them for their hard work,
enthusiasm, and perseverance. Our people, and the wide range of skills and
experiences they bring to work every day, are the engine of our success.
The first half of the year had started relatively slow but gained momentum
very quickly throughout. We are very optimistic that the second half of the
year is going to be much better and lead to a record-breaking year for our
facility in Bahrain. The challenges I have mentioned before, continue to
remain. We must continue to provide a distinguished services to our
customers and to add newer products/services to our portfolio.
I welcome all our new colleagues that have joined us in the last six months.
We are getting close to two hundred employees in this facility, and it is
fantastic to see the progress we have been making over the last many years.
We have multiple training programs running to enhance your skills. These
actions strengthen the capabilities of our team, enhance the quality of our
service, and equip us to help our clients build trust and deliver sustained
outcomes.
Despite the world’s challenges, we look to the future with hope because
we’ve seen first-hand what’s possible when a team comes together. If you
have any comments or questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’ll be
delighted to hear from you.
Dear Colleagues
So far this year, the war in Ukraine, the continuing COVID-19
pandemic (which has eased a lot in Bahrain, especially, but
continues to affect us indirectly in other parts of the world),
rising inflation, supply chain disruption and the pressing
need to address climate change have combined to produce
the most difficult set of global circumstances.
Managing such tough global challenges is possible only when we come
together: when people with diverse skills combine forces to solve complex
problems, and when business steps up to take responsibility for its impact on
the society of which it is an inseparable part.

Tell us a little about you.
What inspire you to work at MTQ?
How MTQ helped you in career Development?
When you are at work, how do you motivate yourself?
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Where do you find yourself in 5 years from now?
What is your favorite hobby?
What was the last book you read?
What piece of advice would you give to the new joiners?
I started my career in Nass Contracting as a receptionist, then I worked as an
Executive Secretary in the same company. Eight years later, I joined MTQ
Oilfield as a Document Controller in Quality Department. I am holding Master’s
in Human Resources Management from Applied Science University. During my
free time, I love watching series and going to the cinema.
The positive work environment, I love working with a team to achieve a common
goal and I look forward to becoming a valued contributor to this phenomenal
team. I also appreciate all the incentives MTQ provide to its staff.
Working in MTQ has provided me with valuable information and training in the
oilfield sector. In addition, it provides me with the opportunity to improve my
problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team.
By rewarding myself, these rewards can be small, like going on a walk or getting
a favorite treat, or big rewards, like going on a vacation or to the cinema.
Knowing that something enjoyable is waiting for you on the other side acts as a
great reward for getting things done.
Stop saying yes when I want to say no.
I’m looking for a role with a company that I can grow with and continue to take
on new challenges over the next five years and beyond. Since I am driven to be
the best at what I do, I want to have opportunities to develop my skills, take on
interesting projects, and work with people I can really learn from.
My hobbies are reading, writing poems, and travelling
The last book I read was Letting Go (The Pathway of Surrender) by David R.
Hawkins. It is a book that is designed to help the reader to overcome negative
emotions.
As Mohammed Ali said, “I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit.
Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” Even if you hate
challenges in life, you need to go on and continue working on it because you can
only experience a wonderful life when you suffer and work hard for it.
